Submit manuscript
All manuscripts must be submitted online via the journal’s Editorial System. Submissions sent by e-mail or post are not accepted.
Peer review
Polymers in Medicine applies double-blind peer review. Manuscripts sent for external evaluation are reviewed by at least two independent reviewers. All submissions undergo initial editorial screening and may be rejected prior to peer review (desk rejection) if they are out of scope or do not meet journal requirements.
Before you submit
Before submitting your manuscript, please ensure that:

the manuscript file is fully anonymized (no author names/affiliations, acknowledgements, COI or funding statements)

the abstract and keywords are entered in the Editorial System (not pasted into the manuscript file)
-
all required statements are included where applicable (Declarations, Ethics/IRB, informed consent, COI, funding, data availability)
-
tables and figures are uploaded as separate files (tables in editable format)
-
references are prepared according to AMA style
Submission checklist
Please confirm the following during submission:

Manuscript anonymized (double-blind review)

Title, abstract and keywords completed in the system

All authors and affiliations correctly entered in the system

Funding and conflict of interest disclosed in the system

Declarations completed (as applicable)

Tables/Figures uploaded separately
What happens next?
After submission, manuscripts proceed through the following stages:

Editorial screening (desk review)

External peer review
-
Editorial decision (accept / revise / reject)

Copyediting and proofs
-
Online publication (Ahead of Print) and issue assignment
